Alfaparf Milan stands with the kids of Dynamo Camp through the Barbie extra initiative

For the fourth consecutive year, Alfaparf Milan is supporting Dynamo Camp, the non-profit that offers free vacations with recreational therapy programs to children and young people with serious or chronic illnesses and their families. The objective of Dynamo Camp is to restore children’s confidence in themselves and their abilities and to improve the quality of life for them and their families.

Alfaparf Milan has begun collaborating with Barbie, the doll that best represents the values of diversity and inclusion and spurs kids to follow their dreams. So five Alfaparf Milan hairstylists - Gianni Rando, Lorenzo Marchelle, Mimmo Laserra, Emanuele Vona and Luigi Martini – have stepped up to meet a special challenge, by reinventing and changing the look of 5 Barbie Extra dolls, giving them a unique touch with a specially created hairstyle. The five exclusive dolls, which are true collector’s items, will be auctioned off from February 7-20; all proceeds will be donated to Dynamo Camp, so that even more kids and their families can stay at the center (click here if you want to participate in the auction).

The collaboration between Alfaparf Milan and Barbie will continue in March and April with a special salon campaign where the spotlight will be on Barbie’s little sister Chelsea: Chelsea dolls will be given free to customers who purchase two Semi di Lino products.

We’re proud to be able to offer concrete help to kids and their families through a project that promotes diversity and inclusion.
